node-buffer-crc32 software package provides computes crc32 of buffers and strings - module for Node.js, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install node-buffer-crc32
node-buffer-crc32 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the node-buffer-crc32 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep node-buffer-crc32 *
You will get with node-buffer-crc32 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
